Raw avocado pesto- Pesto cru aux avocats

Avocado makes everything better.
It adds a creamy texture to anything. From your soup to your dessert. 
So here is the recipe of a creamy pesto to eat with pasta, sandwiches or just right trough the jar ;)
Ingredients:
makes about 1 1/2 cup 

1 Large avocado 
1/3 cup of oil (I used sunflower oil)
1/2 cup of cashews 
1 cup of fresh basil leafs 
the juice of 1 lime 
1 tablespoon of salt 

Directions:
(soak your cashew for 4-5 hours)
Put everything in your food processor until you get a creamy and smooth texture. 


Ingrédients:
1 gros avocat 
1/3 tasse d'huile de tournesol extrait à froid
1/2 tasse de noix de cajou
1 tasse de basilic frais
jus d'une lime au complet
1 c. à table de sel de mer


 Tremper vos noix de cajou 4-5 heures
ensuite jeter l'eau de rinçage et mélanger tout les ingrédients ensuite dans un robot ou un mélangeur de bonne qualité.

  5. It's so true! Avocado does make everything better! Especially avocado with a generous sprinkling of lime juice! I eat that as a snack all of the time. *hehe* I made potato salad recently using mashed avocado instead of mayo. Delicious!
